From June 22 to June 29, the strongest athletes of Europe will gather in Minsk at the II European Games to compete for five sets of medals, and for licenses for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Vladimir SAMSONOV, Pavel PLATONOV, Alexander KHANIN will perform at the men’s team event. In women's team event our country will be represented by Victoria PAVLOVICH, Daria TRIGOLOS and Nadezhda BOGDANOVA.
Vladimir SAMSONOV, Pavel PLATONOV, Daria TRIGOLOS and Nadezhda BOGDANOVA will compete for medals in the singles events.
Pavel PLATONOV and Nadezhda BOGDANOVA will play in the mixed doubles event. This event will debut at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. At the World Championships, BLR pair reached the main draw through qualifications, but they lost in the 1/32 finals to future quarterfinalists Lee Sangsu / Jeon Jihee.
The coaching staff includes Alexandre PETKEVITCH, the head coach of the national team of Belarus, Andrei VOROBIEV, the senior coach of the men's national team, Tatiana PETKEVITCH, the senior coach of the women's national team.
Winners and prize-winners of tournaments in the men's and women's singles events qualify for the 2020 OG in Tokyo, as well as the winners of team competitions and champions of the II European Games among mixed pairs.
